Main Frame

Created with human intelligence yet perfected by the artificial kind, MainFrame is a one-of-a-kind face design that has a milled pattern on the backside of each ZX Iron face to increase ball speed on every shot. While our engineers set the parameters, our computers ran the simulations—thousands of them—until we had our fastest irons yet.

Progressive Grooves

The key to better iron play is consistency. To improve spin and distance consistency, the ZX5's grooves are progressive. The 3i-7i feature wider grooves, ideal for longer shots in all conditions. While the 8i-PW have deeper, closer set grooves, perfect for cutting through grass and debris on approach. The result is consistency across the set: both long and short irons delivering repeatable, reliable performance, with fewer surprises.

Multi-Piece Construction

Tungsten in the toe of ZX5's long and mid irons (3i-7i) increases MOI for more stability and forgiveness. That added stability is invaluable on off-center shots because it helps keep spin and speed consistent. A forged SUP10 face enhances speed and distance while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for an extremely soft feel

Tour V.T. Sole

The unique Tour V.T. Sole gives Srixon irons a leg up against the competition with smoother turf interaction and improved impact feel. The V-shaped sole glides smoothly through turf, even if you strike slightly behind the ball. ZX5 Irons also feature the resurgence of our popular sole notches. Revered by our tour staff, these heel and toe notches enhance workability without sacrificing forgiveness.

Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 105 Steel

The N.S. PRO Modus 3 series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in three key areas. Desired trajectory as a result of the unique structure of a stiff tip section and softer mid section. Accurate distances due to the unique raw steel material and accompanying heat treatment. And tight dispersion coming from the exacting tolerances of the highest quality level. Pro Modus 105 steel is a lightweight shaft with traditional smooth bend profile providing mid spin and mid flight.

True Temper Dynamic Gold 105 Steel

For years there have been trade-offs when producing a lightweight steel shaft featuring tour-level performance. With Dynamic Gold 105, these compromises are no more. By creating a tour-caliber shaft in a premier lightweight design, the new Dynamic Gold 105 provides players with the exact same feel as Dynamic Gold in a mid-low launch and spin shaft that is engineered to be easier to swing. This allows for the control and accuracy expected from the Dynamic Gold brand while adding distance due to increased clubhead speed.

True Temper Dynamic Gold 105 is designed for players with a moderate tempo, looking for a medium trajectory and spin.

The desired trajectory as a result of the unique structure of a stiff tip section and softer midsection. Accurate distances due to the unique raw steel material and accompanying heat treatment. The high-rigidity design of the tip steadies impact to help minimize unwanted spin while creating a stronger trajectory. The low rigidity in the midsection improves shaft control so the player with any tempo can more easily control their shots, while the low but rigidity improves swing tempo and contributes to comfortable, smoother feeling upon impact.

Project X LZ Steel:

Project X LZ steel features proprietary Loading Zone Technology which produces maximum shaft load during the downswing for 7% greater energy transfer to the ball at impact for more distance.
Loading Zone Technology is achieved through variable wall technology in the shaft's butt and tip sections and a reduced stiffness in the midsection. Golfers can not only feel the technology, but see it as well in the rapid, tapered steps out of the grip through the midsection of Project X LZ.

The KBS Tour $-Taper shares the same bend profile as the KBS TOUR with elongated step patterns for spin, generating a stable performance throughout the swing.

True Temper AMT Tour White:

AMT Tour White is a tour-weighted option that features the lowest trajectory and spin in the AMT range. AMT Tour White has the same performance DNA as Dynamic Gold and is designed to get progressively heavier as golfers move from their long irons to short irons.

Lighter long irons are easier to swing and produce increased speed along with a higher initial launch while the tour-weighted short irons produce the traditional Dynamic Gold accuracy, consistency and trajectory that is desired from your scoring clubs.
