Description
Main Frame
Created with human intelligence yet perfected by the artificial kind, MainFrame is a one-of-a-kind face design that increases ball speed on every shot. While our engineers set the parameters, our computers ran the simulations—thousands of them—until we had our fastest irons yet.
Milled into the backside of each ZX4 face, MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern made up of grooves, channels, and cavities. This pattern maximizes COR for more ball speed and incredible distance on every shot.
Hollow Design
Hollow from short to long iron, ZX4 are the most forgiving irons in the ZX Family. They give you the freedom to strike the ball across the face while still enjoying high shots that launch straight and find their targets. Yet all that forgiveness comes in a palatable shape and sharp address view thanks to the mid-sized profile made possible by ZX4’s hollow design
Multi-Piece Construction
Premium, high-density tungsten in the base of ZX4’s long and mid irons lowers their centers of gravity significantly. It’s the secret to high-launching irons.
A forged HT1770 Steel face is strong and light, increasing face-flex at impact for enhanced speed and distance. And a 431 Steel body absorbs vibrations for softer feel.
Tour V.T Sole
The unique Tour V.T. Sole gives Srixon irons a leg up against the competition with smoother turf interaction and improved impact feel. The V-shaped sole glides smoothly through turf, even if you strike slightly behind the ball.
ZX4 Irons also feature the resurgence of our popular sole notches. Revered by our tour staff, these heel and toe notches enhance workability without sacrificing forgiveness.
More Forgiveness
Features the widest sole, longest blade, and most offset in ZX family, but still offers a clean address view.
Progressive Grooves
Grooves in the 8i through PW are sharper, narrower, and deeper for more spin and stopping power on approach shots into the green.
