The Custom Fit Experience

The Custom Fit Experience

What is a custom fitting?

Buying a custom set of golf clubs is an investment and should be provided by a trained and experienced club fitter. Not only will we be able to provide visual observations, but we will be able to use specialised fitting software and equipment to provide technological evidence.

A custom fitting focuses on recommending the best golf equipment needed for your individuality. Every golfer is different; whether it is in size, body weight or the shape of your golf swing and a custom fitting will result in clubs that are specifically designed to suit you; your height, strength, club speed and swing characteristics.

Why should you get a custom fitting?

Golf clubs displayed in store are built to standardised specifications, and these 'standards' can vary between brands. When a golfer uses standard clubs, they often compensate his or her game to adjust to the ill-fitting club.

Using ill-fitted clubs can cause numerous problems; the wrong club will dictate how you address the ball, which in turn will affect how you swing, and ultimately the required position. Having the clubs that best suit your game will help improve consistency, build confidence and progression and most importantly, help you to enjoy the game!

What does a custom fitting involve?

Industry leading systems are used to assist with the club fitting process, they provide the evidence to back our recommendations. Our stores are equipped with fitting systems developed for the world's best performance golf club brands, be it PING n-flight, Foresight FSX, or the unrivaled Performance Fitting System from Mizuno. We understand that precision custom fitting makes all the difference.

We will test for loft, lie, shaft properties such as length, flex, kick point, weight, head design and grip type and size. Everything is combined to ensure we are optimising your ball flight for distance and accuracy.
