FLTD CG FOR CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE
FLTD CG strategically positions the center of gravity (CG) lowest in the long irons and progressively shifts higher throughout the set. A new thick-thin back wall construction unlocks additional weight redistribution, further optimizing mass properties for pinpoint CG placement. The design produces better launch and playability in long irons with precision and control in the scoring clubs.

P·790’s forged hollow body is the ideal construction for blending performance with premium feel. An all-new internal sound stabilization bar combines with SpeedFoam™ Air to deliver an elevated forged iron feel.
INTELLIGENT SWEET SPOT
The 4140 forged high speed face is 1.56mm at its thinnest location. Combining the responsive face and new internal shaping yields a new sweet spot design, which is a remarkable advancement from the early generations of P·790. This new sweet spot intelligently captures more shots while ensuring consistent ball speeds and accuracy.

Shaft And Grip Details
True Temper Dynamic Gold 105 VSS: For years there have been trade-offs when producing a lightweight steel shaft featuring tour-level performance. With Dynamic Gold 105, these compromises are no more. By creating a tour-caliber shaft in a premier lightweight design, the new Dynamic Gold 105 provides players with the exact same feel as Dynamic Gold in a mid-low launch and spin shaft that is engineered to be easier to swing. This allows for the control and accuracy expected from the Dynamic Gold brand while adding distance due to increased clubhead speed. True Temper’s proprietary Vibration Suppression System (VSS) reduces unwanted shaft vibrations from contact.
MMT Iron Graphite: Born from more than 30-years of composite shaft mastery, the new MMT Taper Iron utilizes a patent pending Metal Mesh Technology (MMT) to redefine the possibilities for feel and performance in a composite iron shaft. A unique metal mesh – made from individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel – is integrated into the shaft’s prepreg layers towards the tip. This improves density and stability, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that still provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play.
