PIONNER OF SPIN WEDGES

22 years ago, Fourteen released a spin wedge called "MT-28." It was the first wedge to feature a "U-groove" with sharp edges on the face grooves, creating overwhelming performance that allowed anyone, regardless of skill, to hit professional-level spin shots. Tour players were amazed by the spin performance, which was so overwhelming that it was the most used wedge on the Japan PGA Tour. The "MT-28" revolutionized wedge spin performance, and in 2010 the use of U-groove wedges was banned in tournaments. The spin wedge developed by Fourteen had such an overwhelming advantage that it changed the equipment rules.

FOURTEEN REVOLVE PROJECT (FR)

Fourteen's R&D department started the FR (FOURTEEN REVOLVE) PROJECT to once again change the roots of spin performance. The goal is to achieve the same performance that allows all golfers to hit professional-level spin shots as they did with the innovative U-groove MT-28 wedge. The new model FRZ, developed through the FR PROJECT, serves as a reminder that Fourteen is a manufacturer for all golfers, and promises to be a breakthrough spin wedge producer.

A SUPERIOR GROOVE THAT SURPASSES PREVIOUS QUALITY CONTROL STANDARDS COMBINED WITH LASER MILLING FOR MAXIMUM & STABLE SPIN

Fourteen's most important policy is uncompromising product precision. This is because we want to deliver to golfers the performance that was intended by the original design. To that end, the strict inspection standards have been established and implemented thorough quality control allowing our grooves to be pushed closer to the limits than ever before. Only "perfect grooves" are shipped after undergoing rigorous quality inspection of finished products. The finest groove quality delivers the highest level of spin performance to golfers. To increase spin rate, it is necessary to improve the friction conditions between the face and ball at impact, and for that, the flatness precision of the face is very important. Flatness precision is essential for the best groove design. In addition, laser milling is applied to the face to reduce the loss of spin performance in all conditions around the green, such as in wet conditions, rough and in bunkers.

NEWLY DESIGNED SHAPE WITH MILLED TAPERED BLADE

The center of gravity in the FRZ Wedges has been intentionally designed away from the actual impact point. One of the purposes is to increase maneuverability by placing the center of gravity on the heel side, as well as to accommodate the various techniques utilised by players. The new design also facilitates to control the amount of spin depending on the technical shot. In addition, by separating the center of gravity from the actual impact point, the gear effect helps to improve spin performance.

Shaft And Grip Details

True Temper Dynamic Gold Steel - S200: Dynamic Gold is the Gold Standard by which all other iron shafts are measured. It is the most successful shaft in the history of golf and still continues to dominate on professional tours each and every year. Dynamic Gold is a tour-weighted shaft that is designed for players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight for optimum control and accuracy. Dynamic Gold is designed for players with a moderate tempo, looking for a low trajectory and spin
Fourteen Signature Feather Grip: The Signature Feather golf grip is designed by fourteen. Its unique textured pattern provides optimal all-weather performance.
Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 Wedge: Based on our masterpiece N.S.PRO WV, which was designed exclusively for wedges and thoroughly refined for operational ease, as well as feedback from PGA tour players, Nippon Shaft crafted a new steel shaft for wedges that offers first class short game performance. N.S.PRO’s proprietary wall thickness adjustment technology contributes to high-level stability (in terms of spin and direction) while MHT (Multi Heat Treatment) technology, our cutting-edge heat treatment for MODUS³ series shafts, delivers the comfortable feeling you expect of short game gear.
Nippon N.S Pro 950 GH Neo Steel: The N.S Pro 950GH Neo was developed with the popularity of larger iron head designs with strong lofts and lower center of gravities in mind. While inheriting the superb handling and directional accuracy of the 960GH, neo better matches today’s iron heads with rigid characteristics refined by patented processes from our tour winning N.S Pro Modus 3 Multi Heat Treatment technology (MHT) and Multi Shape Adjustment technology (MSA). The same light feeling as before is better matched to new high-performance irons. A higher rigidity in the middle provides a sense of acceleration that secures spin and headspeed.
Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 105: The N.S. PRO Modus 3 series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in three key areas. Desired trajectory, accurate distances and tight dispersion. With a controlled trajectory that even surprises the tour pros, Modus 3 105 is lighter in weight to increase club head speed for longer distances, straighter shots, stronger trajectories and more consistent performance. Broadening the Nippon Shaft reputation as a light weight shaft expert, the N.S Pro Modus 3 105 has a traditional smooth bend profile that offers players a Mid Flight and Spin.
Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 120: Unique development concept designed for control. The N.S. PRO Modus 3 series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in three key areas. The desired trajectory as a result of the unique structure of a stiff tip section and softer midsection. Accurate distances due to the unique raw steel material and accompanying heat treatment. And tight dispersion coming from the exacting tolerances of the highest quality level. The high-rigidity design of the tip steadies impact to help minimize unwanted spin while creating a stronger trajectory. The low rigidity in the midsection improves shaft control so the player with any tempo can more easily control their shots, while the low but rigidity improves swing tempo and contributes to a comfortable, smoother feeling upon impact.
Lamkin Crossline - Black: The best-selling Crossline grip delivers maximum surface traction and outstanding torsion control. Crossline grips have been a favorite among top players for nearly 20 years.
Golf Pride MCC - Black/White: The MultiCompound is an innovative hybrid grip that fuses the positive performance of rubber and cord. The MCC boasts the Golf Pride exclusive Brushed Cotton Cord in the upper hand area for firm all-weather control, and a performance rubber material in the lower hand for ultimate feel and responsiveness.
