Lightweight composite crown and sole inserts are manufactured from a high-grade carbon fiber composite pre-preg material using a sophisticated compression molding process. The use of this lightweight yet strong component, allows our engineers to optimize weight distribution within the clubhead to increase moment of inertia (MOI) and push the CG lower and further back, leading to improved distance performance and forgiveness.
The default Black Ops Driver presents two sole weights that are interchangeable to support preferred spin and bias settings. Weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, and 20-gram options, so overall head weight and shot bias can be easily fine-tuned for each individual player.
