A stiffened face edge, thinned rear crown, and thinner face generate more flex to increase energy transfer and heighten ball speeds.

Refined steps on the crown and a new, larger step on the sole improve help harness aerodynamic forces to better stabilize the clubhead during your downswing and guide the club face into optimal strike position, making it easier to hit the sweet spot and improve ball speeds.
Cannon Sole
A floating weight pad positions the CG for optimal launch and distance. Its unique cannon shape allows us to place mass where needed without impeding each club face's flexibility—especially helpful for shots struck low on the face. For XXIO 14, a larger thin area under the face and larger thick pad toward the face combine for a high launch and long carry.
