Dual Perimeter Weighting

Our innovative Dual Perimeter Weighting system introduces a new level of adjustability, allowing fitters to shift mass toward the heel or toe to fine-tune shot shape and start line — all without altering lie angle. This breakthrough fitting technology enhances MOI by 8.4%, increases forgiveness, and gives players more control than ever before.

Deep Core Recoil Technology

This advanced design introduces additional space behind the ultra-thin face, enabling increased face deflection and more efficient energy transfer at impact. The result is higher launch conditions, faster ball speeds, and a softer, more responsive feel. This innovation plays a key role in delivering the consistent performance and enhanced feedback that define the GEN8 Irons.

QuantumCOR Polymer

PXG’s softest and fastest polymer ever, QuantumCOR is packed into the clubhead cavity to dampen vibration and maximize energy transfer. Thanks to the new Dual Perimeter Weighting and refined internal geometries, even more space is available to inject this high-performance material — boosting COR, enhancing feel, and delivering explosive distance across the face, especially when paired with PXG’s ultra-thin face design.

Tungsten Toe Weighting

A high-density tungsten weight placed in the toe helps center the CG and raise MOI. This keeps the clubhead stable through impact and improves forgiveness on off-center hits — without sacrificing feel or control.

Ultra-Thin Maraging Steel Face

At just .058 inches, this is the thinnest face PXG has ever made. Forged from HT1770 maraging steel, it’s built for speed, flex, and feel — delivering incredible ball speeds, tight dispersion, and a pure sound at impact.

5X Forged 8620 Carbon Steel

Due to the deep internal cavity of the GEN8 irons, the forging process involves 5 separate strikes to bring the club from an initial billet to the final shape. The forging process is a higher cost process that yields: Tighter grain structures that enhance the feel of the club at impact and a stronger material than the casting process.

Shaft And Grip Details

Mitsubishi MMT Iron: Designed to maximize the benefits of both composite and steel performance, our patent pending Metal Mesh Technology represents the very best of the Mitsubishi end-to-end manufacturing approach. As layers of prepreg are stacked to build the shaft’s core, a small section of unique Metal Mesh is integrated towards the tip. This Metal Mesh – made up of individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel – improves the density and stability of the shaft, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that still provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play.
Lamkin Z5: The Z5 features five distinctive grip zones scientifically engineered to promote proper hand placement and the ideal light-pressure grip with every swing. The grip’s multi-compound foundation is combined with a functional network of textures and patterns to deliver enhanced grip comfort, control and consistency.
Project X Cypher: Find the key to decoding distance throughout your bag with Cypher—an ultralight, low resin graphite iron and wood shaft family that focuses on promoting higher launch and maximizing distances. Cypher is bend profile matched to create symmetry and provide a seamless transition between your woods and irons, allowing for unmatched shaft consistency throughout the bag. Cypher visibly features a strategically placed graphite weave that is thinner, lighter and more efficient than traditional graphite weaves, to provide enhanced mid-section stability to a lightweight shaft design. Project X Cypher is designed for players with a deliberate tempo, looking for a high trajectory and spin
SuperStroke Crossline 2.0: The Crossline 2.0 Club Grip is the next generation of a true classic. An evolution of the iconic Lamkin Crossline, this grip preserves the timeless look and tour-proven performance that golfers have trusted for decades, now enhanced with modern innovations from SuperStroke./ Made from our highly durable Genesis material, the Crossline 2.0 offers exceptional all-weather performance and a responsive feel that lasts round after round. Its updated Modern Taper™ profile features a larger lower hand section, simulating four extra layers of tape to encourage more even grip pressure and greater control. With excellent torsion control and the original Crossline pattern for reliable traction, this grip is built for consistent, confident play in any conditions.
SuperStroke REVL Players: The Grip of Choice for Players Who Demand Consistency. The REVL Player Club Grip is built for golfers seeking long-lasting performance and total control. Made with our innovative Genesis all-rubber material, it delivers superior durability and a consistently soft feel round after round. Featuring our Ultra-Tac Pattern with X-shaped surface texture, the REVL Player offers excellent grip pressure and confidence in any condition. This high-performance grip is designed to thrive no matter the weather, with moderate texture, hybrid material construction, and reliable feedback on every swing. Plus, it’s built to resist UV rays, ozone, and extreme temperatures, so it performs just as well in August as it does in April.
